Next week we have ECT playing for the last time ever, $1000 back n the wheel and free food for patrons who come early enough!
Fuckin’ Conservatives,
Pretty fun little thousand dollar night we had there. We didn’t really go far over time and everyone seemed to be having fun considering we’re all FUCKING DOOMED!
Elections aside we had a lot of great bands last night. Hot Yoga are back and better than ever. Black Rats who don’t make it down too often played some decent tunes. Stop Motion Massacre continued with their onslaught of fast rugged punk tunes. Good to see No Flyers Please again, it’s been a little while but they were great as always. Like a Motorcycle filled the role of host band and certainly didn’t let us down. Yes Curious Sofa is still fucking great. Yes Bloodhouse did play and were incredible. And yes Napalm Raid is the loudest band in the city.
No one won the damn money, Sandalines were soooo close, then when Craig spun it after all the bands had their chance he got bang on. Heard of got to Spit Beer on Adrian and Like a Motorcycle got the shirt off Josh Salter’s back.

Long Weekend,
Long weekends have always kicked the shit out of $Rockin 4 Dollar$ people just seem to have a problem partying 4 days straight in this city, that being said it was a pretty damn fun night and a bunch of people did scramble out of their homes in sickness and in health.
Hot Yoga made their triumphant return as their drummer Travis made it back to this city from a long trip to sunny Australia. The Sandalines kicked ass one again. Audrey and the Agents got a new bass player, he’s from the Bad Bad Bad, I don’t know his name and have never seen him before, but he can rock the fuck out and is a great fit for the band. The Graboids were the host band, my body hurts. Napalm raid were relentless, night and loud once again, and The Blue Shirts also made a return after quite a long absence.

It Rained!
I was expecting last night to be a downer after looking outside at 8pm but things turned around real quick and it wasn’t so bad after all.
Pencil Necked Geeks debuted with their wrestling themes to an empty room, I’m sure we’ll see plenty of them in the future but boy oh boy are they nailing it. Jon Hines is freakin awesome. No Flyers Please played the earliest I’ve ever seen, didn’t stop people from dancing their asses off. The Fantods made their triumphant return to R4D after well over a year, I missed seeing them and am happy they played. This Day of Reckoning melted faces once again, those kids really know what’s up. The Thetans brought their weird brand of dance rock and Like a Motorcycle are warming up to be a pretty damn good band.
Our hosts The Thetans walked away with the $200 cash prize making this the second week in a row our host band won the money. Dumpster Mummy won a Some Shitty Band shirt and No Flyers Please won Paradise Alley, a Sylvester Stallone wrestling movie on VHS http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078056/
