What a night,
It’s nights like this that make it really show us why what we do is worth while. Such a big thank you to Tupperware Remix Party and to everyone who came out and had a blast.
The Sandalines are always a treat I tell you. And I got to play bass in Gerodi Vision, I like this whole playing bass in bands thing, it’s really not that hard. Then a band played, it’s some incarnation of The Grass, I believe they are calling themselves Money now but I am unsure. The Deadly Hearts delivered their rnr swagger with a guest tambourine player, and the ever improving hind Legs followed. Now Tupperware Remix Party are in a class of their own, the amount of energy delivered is the kind of thing dreams are made of, they are probably the best band to mix for at Reflections because there’s no vocal to compete with the pure awesome sonic revolution coming out of the speakers. Napalm Raid returned from tour to kick the shit out of Halifax once again, and HP/MP rocked once more.
No one won money, a couple of folks won the opportunity to spit beer on Adrian.

The Fuzz,
Sort of a sad night but holy shit the Fuzz put on a hell of a show. Craig brought out streamers, a hula-hoop (you know, for kids) and sparklers, almost lit the place on fire too. Thanks again to the Fuzz for being awesome. Their very last show is on the 19th at Gus’
Well hot diggaty the money went again, to the first band of the night no less, Jon Hines and Coleman, wicked stuff I gotta say, maybe now they can afford a bass player (hey-oh).The Scoopouts won Mafia on VHS, Like a Motorcycle got to spit beer on Adrian, and The Nymphets won a ‘Some Shitty Band’ t-shirt.

Holy shit, Thanks so much to everyone for playing along and looking like a bunch of pretty ladies and handsome men, really made for a special night. Versus was our host band and they walked away with $1000!!! Good for them, they’re from Truro and have been playing nearly every week for the last couple months. Hope everyone enjoyed some poutine and some smoked meat, it was delicious.
Highlights include, Seekers, I think that’s what they were called playing songs they jammed on that day and fuckin ripping them. Union of the Snake, played super early and were one spot away from the money. Ruth F’n Minnikin, what a darling. The Hockey Fight are fucking awesome, I want to see more of them, Chixdiggit and the Hanson Brothers in 1. No Flyers Please always know how to bring the party. PRK playing a Darkness cover and Ryan Allen whipping out a double neck! Brian and Alf spitting beer on Adrian, And finally Jake from the Deadly Hearts Stone Cold Stunnering Adrian for the 3rd time into Broken glass.

What a fun night!
Alison Land is a freakin genius!!!
IWK bake sale sold some pretty damn delicious items!!!
The Nymphets on their last evening with us (for a little bit) walked away with the $400 bringing their grand total up to $1000 having played for us for the last 3 months straight, it was great to have them and it’s sad to see them go, but something tells me we’ll be seeing them again very soon.
The Deadly Hearts’ Jake Thurgood, disgusted with Adrian’s attempt to pawn off a Christmas card addressed to himself as a prize, gave Adrian his second Stone Cold stunner.
Catriona Sturton of Plum Tree fame played a couple quick songs with Sean McGillivray much to the delight of the people who made it out tonight.
Probably the funniest set I’ve seen Hoop Dreams play too! Too many laughs.
