Full band open mic every monday night at Reflections Cabaret in Halifax! (6184 Sackville Street, 10PM)

HOW TO PLAY

Call 422-2957 at 9PM on Monday nights

We'll give you a 15 minute time slot (extended on slower nights) and a free pitcher of beer.

Gear is provided (full drum kit, two guitar amps and one bass amp).

At the end of the night bands spin (in order) for the chance to win a cash prize of $200 to $1000, it increases by $200 every week until it goes.

On $200 nights, $100 MUST GO! You can also win Rock Garden jam time, cookies, and many other awesome prizes!

Gain stage experience for new bands or test out new songs if your established.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We cater to any type of music! We've seen acoustic, punk, metal, hip hop, noise, rock, electro--you name it!

Come on down and see up to 16 local and touring bands play and spin the wheel for their chance to win up to $1000! Cover is only $3.

Happy Hour (drinks: $2.75, bottles: $3.25) runs from 10PM to 1AM!

We've got pool, ping pong and video games! Come challenge your friends at Goldeneye 007 or Mario Kart 64!

Please remember to bring your valid photo IDs, and don't forget a second piece (which doesn't have to be photo) if you're under 25!

FINE PRINT
The money caps at $1000. If it is not won that night then the following week (and every week after it is not won) we offer food the following week cooked up by Craig and volunteer chefs (usually Alfred and Brian) anything from chili to breakfast to tacos.

On $200 and $400 nights, we allow up to two solo performances.

Your Hosts are in bands, and their bands may spin.
BUT
- Only on $200-$600 nights
- A different member of the band must spin.
- Their share of the winnings will go directly back into something that benefits the night i.e. new gear or free food for the audience the following week.

We will now make an exception to bands who's members have to leave before the end of the night by spinning for you. If we land on the money, we take 20 % for up-keep items like new gear.
